Monarchs Give Back is Old Dominion University's annual community-wide campaign to address food insecurity across Hampton Roads. Each fall, students, faculty, staff, alumni, community partners, and local businesses come together to collect food and financial donations that support ODU students through the Monarch Pantry. Since its launch in 2022, Monarch Nation has donated more than 225,000 food items, demonstrating the extraordinary impact we can make when we work together.
In 2026, we're raising our goal to 150,000 food items and monetary donations, making this our most ambitious campaign yet. Every donation helps provide nutritious food to children and families in our community while ensuring ODU students have access to the resources they need to thrive. Whether you host a food drive, make a financial gift or encourage your colleagues to participate, your support helps strengthen our community and create brighter futures across Hampton Roads
